Yoga with Kat Flowers

This class is the yoga yin to your crossfit yang. We'll move mindfully through a variety of dynamic stretches and yoga postures to help prevent and rehab sore or tight muscles, increase mobility, decrease stress, and ultimately, quiet the mind. We'll practice with a heavy emphasis on physical mindfulness as well- placing mental focus on what is happening in the body at every moment, with every movement. This mindfulness practice serves not only to relieve stress and anxiety, but to promote body awareness that can prevent potential injuries on the yoga mat, and during your next WOD. The class is all levels accessible, and beginner friendly.

Kat Flowers

Kat is a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM. 200 hour Yoga Teaching Certification through Yoga Alliance (usually referred to as "RYT 200 Certified"), with over 1,000 teaching hours.  Kat has been teaching Yoga for 3 years!
